▶ (사)IBS Korea '제2회 대한민국 지능형건축물 대전' 개최 (건설경제신문)

(사)IBS Korea가 주최하고 국토교통부와 한국감정원이 후원하는  ‘제2회 대한민국 지능형건축물 대전’이 오는 3월 4일부터 참가 접수를 받는다. 지능형건축물(Intelligent Building)과 관련된 건축주, 설계사, 시공사, 시스템 업체 등의 공로를 발굴ㆍ표창하는 행사로, 지능형건축물의 활성화 및 저변 확대, 관련 산업과 기술 발전을 촉진해 건축, 건설 분야의 국제 경쟁력을 제고한다는 취지로 열리고 있다. 지난 1회 대회는 관련 업계의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 이번 행사는 건축물의 지능화, 고도화 수준을 가늠해 볼 수 있는 국내 유일의 지능형건축물 공모전으로 올해 2회째를 맞아 더욱 풍성하고 수준 있는 행사로 진행될 예정이다.

▶ 슈나이더 일렉트릭, 스마트 전력 관리 솔루션 강화 (에너지경제)

에너지 관리·자동화 기업 슈나이더일렉트릭(한국지사 대표 김경록)이 에너지 절감, 효율성을 달성할 수 있는 스마트빌딩 등 지능형 전력 관리 솔루션을 선보였다. 슈나이더일렉트릭은 13일 서울 상암동 한국 지사에서 ‘에코스트럭처 파워(EcoStruxure)’ 신제품 출시 간담회를 가졌다. 슈나이더일렉트릭 코리아 김경록 대표는 "경제가 고도화되면서 디지털화와 산업화가 가속화되면서 에너지 수요가 급속도로 증가해왔다"며 "특히 고도성장을 했던 한국은 산업화 과정에서 효율성 보다는 양산에 초점을 맞춰왔다"고 말했다. 이어 "지금도 그것은 유효하다. 이제는 친환경성과 안전성, 효율성을 높이고 이를 통해 에너지 소외계층과 나눌 수 있는 기술이 필요하다"며 "이런 가치들을 모두 해결할 수 있는 것은 결국 스마트 빌딩 등 디지털 기술"이라고 강조했다.

▶ Building Automation System Market: 2017-2026 (Fashion Herald)

Global Building Automation System (BAS) market is expected to grow from $59.43 billion in 2017 to reach $166.99 billion by 2026 with a CAGR of 12.1%. Rising in demand for energy-efficient systems, improvement of IoT in building automation system, growth of building automation-centric wireless protocols and wireless sensor network technology are some of the key factors fuelling the market growth. However, high installation price and lack of skilled labour are hindering the growth of the market.

▶ New Case Studies for Bluetooth in the Smart Building (Bluetooth)

The 2017 release of the Bluetooth mesh specifications have paved the way for the emergence of connected lighting as the key use case in building automation. One of the driving forces behind the momentum in connected lighting is the added benefit of leveraging that same Bluetooth wireless lighting grid as a platform for additional services. According to ABI Research, by 2021, 40% of all connected end points will be smart lighting based. In fact, retail, healthcare, airports, and museums are all early case studies for implementing this technology and have become proving grounds for the capabilities of Bluetooth in the smart building.
